Dear Harry Edward Styles,

 On behalf of all us Directioners, we want to apologize. To you and to Caroline, for everything. It started off as a simple little joke, but then it became more than that. You both received so much hate. You both did not deserve any of that. Seeing you sad, broke our hearts. We feel absolutely horrible and devastated for all that’s happened. The fact that you had to tweet it on twitter to get us all to shut up was unbelievable. You make us so happy and giddy and we get so many butterflies in our stomachs. I think we all overreacted to the fact that the same Harry Styles that tried out for X Factor as a little baby, is now growing up. The fact that you are adored by billions of people got many many many fans crazy. We never want to see you sad because it makes us sad too. We love you so much, we just wanted to protect you. And of course, we stupidly got overly jealous. I know its very cliche, but when you smile, it lights up our worlds and we would never want to see those beautiful dimples disappear because of us. I know you probably don’t want to hear this crap from us, but we’re sorry. If we were the reason you & Caroline ended, we’re sorry. I’ve never seen such a horribly dedicated fandom that would take it this far. 

You’ve truly inspired me as an individual and supported me to continue my life happily when I was having difficult times. I know it sounds stupid, but its true. And even though I’ve never met you or any of your bandmates, I know you all are truly good people and that you did not deserve all of the hate because of us jealous fans. You’re beautiful in every way possible & everyday you make us feel beautiful for 3 minutes and 27 seconds. I feel horrible for everything that’s happened & I wish you the best in your career & life and sit here in my room in Los Angeles, California, waiting and dreaming for the day I could finally meet you and let you know how much we all care about you. Please forgive us, we promise not to make the same mistakes.
