About the Owner

My name is Quynh but I am well-known as Kwinsturr. I am single. My passion for photography is undeniable. I am affable, friendly, compassionate, cheerful, sympathetic, studious when I have to be, and assertive. I can be bitter, stubborn, competitive, rebellious, and I can’t care less about what people think of me because only I know who I really am deep in my heart. Don’t be surprised if I ever try to explain myself because that’s just how I am. I say things that can be misinterpreted and people take me the wrong way. I feel better talking things out when situations come up.I have the courage to apologize when I know I am wrong or have wronged somebody.

I don’t like being told what to do. Who does? But I’ll do it if I feel like being helpful or if it is necessary. I have my own unique style, taste in music, and outlook on life. I have been told that I make decisions based on my emotions. I care for people, friends or not. Sometimes I can care a little too much that I only hurt myself. 

First impressions matter, but I do believe in getting to know others before fully judging them. I’m just being real. If you don’t like what you see then remain in the distant from me, I’ll only care if you give me a chance to prove to you that I have more positives than negatives; simply just by being myself.

I use to own an official resource website, however I moved to tumblr because I like the purpose of tumblr. This tumblr can also be found with kwinsturr.com. 

What exactly is “Kwinsturr”?
A nickname and productions label. Kwin is my nickname even though it’s pronounced the same as, “Quynh”. Kwin is easier for people who fail to spell my name correctly. The Sturr came from people who enjoyed finding other words to go with my nickname. I’ve had a bunch of nicknames but I prefer this one. I use Kwinsturr because it’s the most common one used and I’m also known as Kwinsturr in my school. Kwinsturr is my name and I will never get sick of it because it’s a part of who I am. Picking a name you won’t get sick of is a great advice when it comes to making a domain name.

Kwinsturr.com was purchased on May 29, 2009. The site was officially public on June 09, 2009.
I moved to tumblr around February 2011 from yearly hosting because tumblr was just more easier to handle with my busy life.  

Before Kwinsturr’s Existence
I had a free hosted site on freewebs just a month before I decided to get a real domain. My ex-boyfriend bought me a domain called nakmaneelove.net and I had it since… January 2009? I named it after his lastname with the word “love”. We broke up on our anniversary, May 14, causing me to leave the domain he bought me and to ask my dad for a new one. My ex felt bad about the site and offered to purchase me a new one but I rejected his offer, seeing it would be better if I could actually pay for it myself than bugging him to pay it for me.

Years into Graphics/Webpage
I’ve been into graphics since I was about 11. I was first introduced to graphic designing by my lovely sister. After the introduction, I was inspired by all the talented people I saw on Neopets.com. I went from Neopets to freewebs, to Xanga, to Myspace, back to webs, and then my own domain.

I rarely do graphics now, although I still display my old resources up here because someone may find them useful.
